Off the Record: Meet the Pastors
Let’s keep it simple. Pastor Brad and Pastor Queen are just ordinary people who love Jesus. They believe in the entire counsel of God’s Word not because they were convinced, but because their life has been marked with divine experiences and interventions from God, real life stories shared with us that you would need a hot cup of cappuccino for. They are truly about “that life”!
They have been best friends since 2003, been married since 2010, and have been doing life together impacting marriages, families, and the world at-large.
They are transparent, unique, and simply “love the hell out of people” which makes their election sure as Pastors of Transformed City Church. God uses them predominantly in inner healing and deliverance, the prophetic, teaching, birthing entrepreneurs & workplace influencers, and helping others find their fit in the Kingdom of God.
If you struggle with identifying your purpose, calling, and assignment in the Earth, they truly have the grace and the prophetic insight by God to help you. They have created TCC as a hub for believers to learn, heal, become and then be sent out to infiltrate families, communities, the workplace, and the marketplace with the message of Christ by living the Word which results in the demonstration of power of God’s presence.
They are coined as “The Couple’s Couple” because many of us here at TCC were introduced to their ministry through marriage counseling. These folks genuinely care about where you are going, your personal relationship with God, and being effective and influential to this generation.
To them, it’s all about learning, healing, and becoming who God has DESIGNED!
Pastor Brad Johnson
Dr. Bradley Johnson is an influential Bible Teacher, IO Psychologist, and Writer. His life’s assignment is to help urban people thrive in live and business.
As a Bible Teacher, Dr. Brad is passionate about teaching the truths of the Kingdom of Christ and the reality of the balanced and thriving life available to anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord.
Dr. Brad is also the CEO and owner of Communic8 Life Consulting, LLC, a business consulting firm that specializes helping urban believers foster and sustain a positive and productive working relationship with their employees while implementing innovative operational changes that produce business growth for their companies. Through virtual appointments, Dr. Brad helps clients revitalize and revamp their current ways of working by carefully examining their internal operations and offering a blended approach, using both proven business strategy and interpersonal skills, to exceed business goals while creating a positive productive work environment. The three main areas of focus for each session are: assessment, awareness, and implementation. Dr. Brad holds certifications as both a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Scrum Master. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication and Marketing from Norfolk State University, a Master of Arts degree in Communication and Industrial Organizational Psychology from Liberty University, and a Doctor of Entrepreneurship degree from Christian Leadership University.
Using the pen name, BJ Communicates, he consistently releases a gambit of music, podcasts, books, and digital platform shows aimed at inspiring and encouraging urban people.
He is under the apostolic covering of his Spiritual Parents, Apostle Ron and Pastor Hope Carpenter, Pastors of Redemption Church.
Pastor Quiana Johnson
Pastor Quiana, affectionately known as Pastor Queen, is a powerful Inner Healing & Kingdom Life Coach that helps women heal, evolve, & reign in life and business using revelatory biblical truths that yields transformation and spiritual awakening. She believes that going into deeper realms and intimacy with God is the way towards a life of freedom and success. Her superpower is to prophetically guide this generation by the Spirit to discover their identity in Christ and awaken them to a deeper level of soul-transformation through healing and deliverance from past trauma, insecurities, and limiting beliefs so that they can BECOME who God has destined them to be in every area of life. Her mission is to produce a Kingdom people who are faith-walkers, Kingdom-decreers, and supernatural manifesters, who are unapologetically bold, brilliant, and creative beings confident of their worth, knowing that God has blessed them to empower this generation with their presence.
Through her brand, Briana Becoming LLC, Pastor Queen provides one-on-one life coaching sesh’s, group healing intensives, healing retreats, conferences, and more. She is also privileged to be an Inner Healing Coach in the Set Free Academy, an immersive neuro-based healing coaching program founded by Alana Palm.
Pastor Queen is a student pursuing her Master’s & Doctorate in Christian Counseling & Kingdom Entrepreneurship, Co-Pastor of Transformed City Church, serving a dynamic congregation along with her husband in Richmond, VA, Founder of Lambda Omicron Chi Christian Sorority, Inc, and an author of the book, Empty Womb, Empty Tomb, a thought-provoking memoir recapping the dramatic events surrounding the premature birth and death of her son, Nehemiah, and the restoring work of the Holy Spirit in the aftermath.
Pastor Queen has spoken at various college campuses, churches and ministries, women's conferences, and organizational events around the world with her signature topics in inner healing, discovering your identity in Christ, and Kingdom entrepreneurship.
Pastor Queen is the epitome of extroverts. She loves travelling the world meeting different people from different cultures, hosting house parties for families & friends, making people laugh, meditating in quiet spaces, reading a good book, studying the Word, & spending time with God. Her favorite moment in life involves curling up on the couch in a “onesie” pajama with a blanket, sipping on a hot drink, and binge-watching a good drama with her family.
